HINDI
Course Description
CBSE Hindi is designed to strengthen a student’s reading, writing, comprehension and overall command of the Hindi language. The curriculum introduces learners to prose, poetry and different literary compositions that represent a variety of ideas and human experiences. Students learn to understand the central thought, message, characters and emotions presented in a lesson. Comprehension activities improve the ability to read carefully and extract relevant information from a passage. Grammar develops accuracy and helps students understand the correct structure and usage of the language. Writing activities encourage students to communicate their thoughts in an organised and effective manner. Literature also develops imagination and helps students appreciate the beauty and variety of Hindi expression. Vocabulary-based learning enables students to select more appropriate words while speaking and writing. The subject encourages understanding and interpretation instead of depending entirely on rote learning. Regular answer-writing practice improves presentation and examination readiness. In this way, Hindi becomes not only an academic subject but also an effective medium for communication, creativity and expression.
